fine handmade stringed instruments

The offset-soundhole prototype has been strung up for several months now and is finally starting to open up into it’s proper voice.  While I thought I had voiced the top to take advantage of the new soundhole location, it looks like I can make these tops even lighter in build which will make for a real possibilities.  If I can get relatively predictable, consistent results on the next iterations, looks like I’ll have a new model to offer.  Sound-wise, it had brilliant trebles, a throaty midrange, and a firm but substantive bass with an overall tone favoring trebles, but now the attack is rounding out and the bass is opening up to close the gap between the trebles.
